About our Burton-upon-Trent office

Located in Staffordshire, our Burton-upon-Trent hub is a dedicated Financial Centre of Excellence and other corporate functions.

The teams focus is to help deliver by protecting IHG’s corporate reputation (and brands) and by acting as a centre of technical excellence thereby supporting the business to provide True Hospitality for Good.

Our Centre of Excellence

A global team of over 90 people across the UK (Burton-Upon-Trent) and India (New Delhi).

Our Intelligence Data Team

A global team 50 people in six countries delivering centralised business intelligence data (financial, non-financial & forecasting), world-class reporting tools and applications that transform information into insight to assist IHG and our hotels make smarter, faster decisions.

We create, maintain, support and innovate financial systems and applications that support the work of corporate and hotel finance colleagues around the globe.

IDT people have a passion for data, and we like deep thinkers with a hybrid finance and systems mindset.

Global Financial Reporting (GFR)

The GFR team provides technical accounting expertise, sets IHG’s accounting policies, and prepares the Group’s externally published accounts in accordance with those policies. Additionally, GFR monitors treasury activity for compliance with Group policy and provides finance support for the trustees of the UK pension and healthcare plans.

Burton-upon-Trent Facilities
