Your day to day:

  • Front Desk Shift Manager manages all aspects of the day-to-day operation, including scheduling employees, monitoring performances, and recommending or initiating corrective actions and coaching. 
  • Ensure all staff are properly trained and have the tools and resources to complete the job effectively. 
  • Ensure guests receive prompt, professional attention and are greeted properly upon arrival. 
  • Communicate and assist in achieving departmental guest satisfaction, revenue, and profit goals. 
  • Ensure procedures are followed for security of monies, credit, and financial transactions, and guest security. 
  • Interact with outside vendors and all internal departments. 
  • Manage labor costs and expenses within department. 
  • Assist with back up for PBX/shuttle and concierge positions when necessary.
