Lead marketing strategy, development and execution in support of the Americas L&L estate, driving measurable commercial performance. Strategically lead initiatives and enable effective cross-functional partnerships that drive performance to support the marketing vision and overall company objectives. Role works closely with L&L Commercial partners and delivers marketing campaign support, content strategy, R&B marketing.

 

Your day to day

  • Develop and implement marketing plan laying the foundation of assigned initiatives and building into overall IHG marketing strategy and plan. 
  • Independently lead strategic planning, activation, project management, implementation, evaluation and socialization of assigned marketing initiatives, including L&L Commercial Marketing and content based marketing. 
  • Serve as marketing lead working in close partnership with business partners and in-region marketing teams. This includes activation of marketing solutions to drive short and long-term performance.  
  • Identify strategic objectives and then drive the corresponding tactical initiatives to achieve those objectives.   
  • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships across all functions at all levels to ensure maximum benefit from cross-functional synergies. 
  • Develop annual goals and initiative-level goals and monitor progress – including financial implications – while proactively enabling enhancements and optimizations to course-correct as needed.
  • Review and analyze market and industry data to understand current trends.
  • Maintain strong marketing acumen across owned, earned, paid channels (including AI).
  • Own and manage marketing budget, ensuring effectively allocating funds and conducting budget audits in partnership with business financial partners. 
  • Effectively communicate initiatives to team, marketing organization, and cross-functional business partners. 
  • Lead, coach, and develop marketing team members providing clear direction, prioritization, and performance management.

 

What we need from you

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Marketing, Hospitality, or a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
  • 6 to 10 years progressive work-related experience in marketing and/or hotel operations, with demonstrated proficiency in multiple disciplines/processes related to the position, including experience working within a franchise organization and specifically working with/influencing franchisees.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability to develop and lead marketing strategies, marketing planning, and showcase critical and analytical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated organization and management development, including demonstrated ability to think strategically and develop/implement organizational initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience in bringing large-scale, complex, cross-functional marketing initiatives to life.
  • Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning and executing large-scale projects from conception through implementation. This role requires a high level of both impact and influence skills and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to clients, vendors, senior management and staff. Ability to influence across all levels including senior management.  Must be able to present and defend a point of view clearly and articulately, react appropriately to unexpected reactions, etc. 
  • Demonstrated ability to develop consumer understanding based on research and existing trends.

 

 

Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in the Atlanta office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business. 

The salary range for this role is $120,000.00 to $145,000.00. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
