Your Day to Day

As Spa Manager, you will be responsible to manage the spa operation to ensure quality service and standards while delivering a guest experience that is revitalizing, relaxing and energizing. Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local regulations concerning health, safety or other requirements.

 

 Some of your main role responsibilities are:

  Membership Sales & Retention:

  • Develop and implement strategies to attract new outside members to the spa.
  • Manage membership renewals and ensure high retention rates by fostering strong relationships with members.
  • Ensure that all members receive exceptional service and a personalized experience, catering to their individual needs.
  • Handle membership inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns from members promptly.
  • Leverage social media, partnerships, and events to enhance the spa’s visibility and appeal to prospective members.

 

·  Operations Excellency:

  • Oversee daily spa operations, ensuring the highest standards of service are maintained.
  • Monitor the cleanliness, organization, and functionality of spa facilities.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, hygiene, and wellness standards.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise spa staff, including therapists, receptionists, and other service personnel.
  • Organize ongoing training to maintain high levels of professionalism and customer service.
  • Collect feedback from members to continuously improve the spa experience.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and innovations, introducing new services or technologies that can enhance the member experience.

 

· Financial & Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage budgets for the spa, including membership-related income and expenses.
  • Monitor and analyse spa performance, including revenue and membership trends, to maximize profitability.
  • Handle billing and ensure accurate processing for memberships and spa services.

 

·  Collaboration with Other Hotel Departments:

  • Coordinate with the hotel’s front desk, concierge, and other departments to ensure a seamless experience for members who are also hotel guests.
  • Work on integrated packages for hotel guests who might also be interested in becoming spa members.

 

Ideally, you'll have some or all of the following competencies and experience we're looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification 
  • Qualifications in Spa Management from a reputable institute
  • 3 to 5 years leadership, experience of a luxury spa facility of a five star resort
  • Be highly fit, presentable and well groomed
  • A natural sales person with the ability to introduce and sell spa offerings and facilities
  • Fluency in English and Arabic, Other languages preferred.
