Key Responsibilities Event Planning & Coordination
  • Oversee the execution of all events, from corporate meetings to lavish weddings, ensuring flawless planning and delivery.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients, event planners, and internal hotel teams.
  • Conduct detailed pre-event meetings to confirm event logistics, guest preferences, and execution plans.
  • Provide creative and customized event solutions, ensuring alignment with IHG’s luxury standards.
Wedding Specialist & Luxury Wedding Curation
  • Act as the dedicated Wedding Specialist, guiding couples through every stage of their wedding journey.
  • Curate bespoke wedding experiences, including themed décor, personalized menus, entertainment, and luxury accommodations.
  • Build strong relationships with wedding planners, florists, photographers, and entertainment vendors to enhance offerings.
  • Coordinate pre-wedding site inspections, food tastings, and bridal suite preparations.
  • Ensure a seamless, stress-free wedding experience by managing all logistics, cultural rituals, and guest preferences.
Event Execution & Guest Experience
  • Act as the primary point of contact during events, ensuring smooth communication between departments.
  • Oversee timely setup and breakdown of event spaces in collaboration with the Banquet and AV teams.
  • Maintain a proactive presence during events, immediately addressing any issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Deliver a high-touch, personalized service, catering to VIP guests and special requests.
Team Leadership & Training
  • Lead and mentor the Event Services team, ensuring they are well-trained in luxury event execution.
  • Conduct regular training sessions on high-end service, event logistics, and brand standards.
  • Foster a collaborative working environment with the Banquet, Culinary, and Sales teams.
Revenue & Business Growth
  • Work with the Sales & Catering teams to maximize event revenue and upsell premium services, including wedding packages, spa services, and luxury accommodations.
  • Develop wedding and event packages that position the hotel as a top-tier luxury event destination.
  • Ensure accurate billing, cost control, and budget adherence for each event.
  • Track event performance, client feedback, and ROI to refine service offerings.
Brand Standards & Innovation
  • Stay updated on luxury event and wedding trends, incorporating cultural elements, sustainability, and innovative guest experiences.
  • Ensure all events align with IHG’s luxury brand standards and sustainability initiatives.
  • Build relationships with vendors, suppliers, and external partners to enhance event offerings.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in event and wedding management within a luxury hotel or venue.
  • Strong expertise in luxury wedding planning, event logistics, and banquet operations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, stay organized, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in event management software and hotel banquet systems.
  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an advantage.
