- Assist in managing financial transactions and purchasing duties for our esteemed hotel
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with various departments to understand their purchasing needs and provide procurement support accordingly
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize purchasing processes to minimise waste and maximise efficiency
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and contracts
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, invoices, and contracts
What we need from you
- Valid New Zealand working rights is a must
- Proven experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software is beneficial
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritise tasks effectively
