Your Day To Day             

  • Undertake all daily maintenance repair and service of all plumbing works.

  • Implement preventive maintenance, regular maintenance or servicing of all piping system.

  • Liaise closely with other department and coordinate repair works to avoid unexpected issue related to hotel operation.

  • Ensure all work areas/workshop are in orderly manner and all tools or equipment are organise and good condition.

  • Regularly monitor the condition of the hotel piping installation and inform the superior or any unusual matters.

  • Keep update maintenance records and engineering operation log sheets relevant to the efficient operation of the department.

  • Carryout all daily maintenance requests or work orders and ensure all works are satisfactorily completed within the time frame.

  • Assist in store management and inventory of parts, material source and quality checking.

  • Maintain clean and tidy plant rooms.

  • Gather information of energy management system and ensure that the energy conservation programs are part of day to day engineering operation.

  • Monitors the standard of work carried out by contractors engaged by the hotel to ensure that it meets the agreed quality.

  • Monitor and control safety standard as the safety and emergency procedures.

  • Assists in the selection, training, evaluation and rewarding of employees as directed.

  • Coaches, counsels, disciplines and develops subordinate employees.

  • Contributes to the morale and team spirit of the hotel by maintaining effective relationships with colleagues.

  • Performs additional duties as directed by supervisors.

  • Makes appropriate suggestions and recommendations to supervisors for the general improvement of the hotel.

  • Is fully conversant with all health and safety, fire and emergency procedures.

  • Maintains a high standard of personal hygiene, dress, uniform, and body language.

  • Is polite and professional in any situation where the image or regulation of the hotel is represented.

  • Attends meetings and training as required by supervisors.

  • Ensures that all activities are carried out honestly, ethically, and within the parameters of Law.

 

What We Need From You

  • Vocational Certificate or equivalent

  • 1 year of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Relevant trade skills

  • Able to read and write in English.
