We have an exciting opportunity for you as Engineering General Technician to join our enthusiastic pre-opening team at Crowne Plaza Dubai Marina.

As an Engineering General Technician you are responsible to provide efficient and professional maintenance support throughout the hotel, ensuring all equipment, facilities and systems are maintained in excellent working condition to provide a safe and comfortable environment for our Guests and colleagues.

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance works in guest rooms, public areas, back of house areas and other hotel facilities
• Attend to maintenance requests, breakdowns and repairs in a timely and professional manner
• Perform general maintenance duties including basic electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry and painting works as required
• Inspect equipment and facilities regularly and report any defects or potential safety concerns to the Engineering Supervisor or Chief Engineer
• Ensure that all tools, equipment and work areas are properly maintained, organized and kept in safe working condition
• Follow all hotel safety procedures, engineering standards and preventive maintenance schedules to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the property

The successful candidate will be hands-on technician with the ability to work independently and as part of the Engineering team. Ideally, the candidate would have minimum 2 years experiences in a similar role in a 5 star hotel; good knowledge of general hotel maintenance; basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, carpentry and painting works; strong understanding of health and safety procedures; exposure to hotel opening would be an advantage. The position required a high organization skill; highly motivated; ability to respond efficiently to maintenance requests; good communication and troubleshooting skills.
