Located in the prestigious downtown business district, InterContinental Dhaka is a beacon of luxury and sophistication. Your day-to-day:
- Oversee all hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and alignment with brand standards.
- Drive commercial performance, meeting revenue goals and maintaining market leadership in F&B and luxury accommodations.
- Foster strong relationships with the ownership board, government stakeholders, and local unions.
- Manage and motivate a team of 380 full-time employees (plus contract staff), cultivating a positive and productive workplace.
- Adapt to the local culture and community, leveraging knowledge of Bengali or regional experience to enhance rapport with stakeholders.
What we need from you:
- Proven success as a General Manager in upper luxury hospitality, preferably with experience in urban, iconic properties.
- Strong ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments, including governmental and union relations.
- Demonstrated commercial acumen to drive business growth in competitive markets.
- Cross-cultural adaptability; knowledge of Bengali or experience in South Asia is highly desirable.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
