About Us

Seeking an experienced, motivated, Human Resources & Accounting Specialist for Torchbearer award-winning Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Fort Washington, PA.


Your day to day

·         The Human Resources & Accounting Specialist is a hybrid of HR administrative and accounting duties

·         This position will assist associates and applicants with a variety of tasks and perform accounting functions

·         Such tasks include but are not limited to, associate relations activities, recruiting/interviewing, record keeping, payroll processing, financial reporting, and benefit enrollment

·         Manage the recruitment process from start to finish, including interviewing and onboarding

·         Process I-9s in E-Verify

·         Onboard new employees into the HRIS system

·         Schedule, complete property tours, and provide introductions for new hires first day

·         Assist employees with benefits and open enrollment

·         Enter all tips daily and gratuity from banquet events into the payroll system

·         Approve and manage payroll on time

·         Count and manage cash deposits every week

·         Conduct bank audits with the General Manager

·         Retrieve cash from guest laundry and deposit

·         Scan, code, file, and research invoices for payment

·         Coordinate and run all employee social events

·         Provide documentation, investigate, and discipline

·         Maintain all employee files confidentially

 

·         Provide assistance where needed


What we need from you

• High school diploma, secondary education or equivalent
• 2 years related experience as a Human Resources/Accounting Specialist or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Some college courses in Human Resources/Accounting, Employment Law, or related fields are preferred.
• Must speak fluent English
• Other languages may be preferred
