Holiday Inn Orlando East - UCF Area is a full service hotel. It has 150 rooms with 5,000 square feet combined meeting space, banquets and a board room. We are located in close proximity to the University of Central Florida.

Your day to day
Ready to spread the word about our exceptional guest experiences? We’re searching for a Sales & Marketing Director with the strategic nous to help us beat our room night sales goals. Night after night.
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
● Managing daily sales activities and coaching your team to deliver to their full potential
● Hitting all personal and team sales goals to help us maximize profitability
● Creating and implementing sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, increase volume, food and beverage and banquet sales
● Producing and reviewing monthly reports to monitor performance
● Leading marketing efforts to up-sell guests on hotel services, offerings, and amenities
The Director of Sales will be a key part of the Management Team at the hotel and will often need to perform MOD duties, assist with problem resolution, Guest Relations and assist in any other areas of the hotel as needed. The Director of Sales must be a good team player, be outgoing, professional and hardworking.
What we need from you
● Two or more years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting with direct supervisory experience over a sales team
● Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required
● Proficient in English
Candidate must be available on Holiday and Weekends, as necessary. Knowledge of the UCF Area and IHG Systems is a preferred.
Good communications skills and follow up is a must.
