Job Overview:

Holiday Inn Express Malta is excited to welcome an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Attendant to our vibrant team on a full-time basis. As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will oversee, enhance, and ensure a pleasant breakfast experience for our guests. Your expertise will directly contribute to maximizing guest satisfaction while working within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform opening duties such as setting tables in the morning inside and outside for breakfast, wiping tables and chairs and replenishing condiments when necessary.
  • Assist Senior supervisor and hosts to meet, greet, and seat guests.
  • Following up on food and beverage orders with the back of house (BOH).
  • Proactively checking on guests to establish satisfaction with the product and overall experience and providing management with feedback.
  • Ensure the buffet is properly set up, with clean and accurate labels for each item, and replenish food as needed.
  • Perform closing duties, including cleaning tables and chairs, refilling condiments, removing breakfast menus, and setting up the café menu.
  • Prepare and cook breakfast items while setting up the buffet.
  • Wash all F&B tableware and ensure cleanliness.
  • Collect used tableware from dining areas.
  • Retrieve orders from the bar and kitchen.
  • Collaborate effectively as a team to maintain smooth operations.
  • During the breakfast operation, empty used tables need to be cleared and set up for a new guest.
  • To make sure the daily cleaning schedule is followed as according to procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar position will be considered an asset
  • Food Handling Certificate
  • Excellent English both written and verbally, any other language ability will be an advantage 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skill with understanding of customer service skills
  • Well-groomed, professional appearance.
  • Available to a 5-6-day shift, weekends and holidays, based on a 40-hour week.
