As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:

  • Assist in the daily operations of the food and beverage service department.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for guests.
  • Take customer orders, suggest menu items, and answer questions about the food and beverage offerings.
  • Set up and maintain dining areas, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and professionally, following company standards.
  • Monitor and assist with guest needs during meals, ensuring satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
  • Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and specials.
  • Handle guest inquiries or complaints professionally, escalating to senior staff when necessary.
  • Assist in inventory management, including restocking supplies and ensuring cleanliness of service areas.
  • Support in the preparation of food and drink orders during busy service times.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down events or special functions.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:

  • Strong interest in the food and beverage industry.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with other staff members.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, with a focus on maintaining cleanliness and organization.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work under the guidance of senior staff members.
  • Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
