Job Summary:
The Regent Santa Monica Beach is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Evening Ritual Dancer to join our team. This part-time position involves performing captivating nightly rituals for our esteemed guests. The performances will include a choreographed dance that changes seasonally during the winter and summer months, creating a mesmerizing and unforgettable experience that aligns with the elegance and ambiance of the resort.
A little bit about your day:
Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, every day is different, but you will mostly:
- Promote Regent’s service philosophy and style through our people attributes.
- Perform nightly dance rituals, including a choreographed dance in the winter and feather dancing in the summer, ensuring a high standard of performance and safety.
- Engage and interact with guests, enhancing their experience and creating a memorable atmosphere.
- Collaborate with the events and entertainment team to ensure seamless execution of performance
- Maintain and care for dance equipment, costumes, and props.
- Adhere to safety protocols put in place by the hotel
What We need from you:
- Previous dance experience or work with a choreographer
- Excellent communication and guest interaction skills.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- A strong sense of creativity and passion for performing arts.
- Physical fitness and agility to perform demanding dance routines.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Professional demeanor and appearance.
What you can expect from us:
The hourly pay range for this role is $35.00 to $38.00. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed at Regent Santa Monica Beach. This is the lowest to highest pay scale we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. A colleague’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
Note: No amount of pay is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
