Our new Chief Engineer will assist Director of Engineering to lead and coach a small but talented engineering team to stay one step ahead of our everyday maintenance needs.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
● Directing daily engineering needs to ensure the right team is always on the right task
● Creating a safe, secure and comfortable environment for our guests to enjoy
● Maintaining and ordering parts and supplies whilst minimising waste and meeting our green initiatives
● Being flexible to react to ad-hoc duties where we have to unexpectedly pull together to get a task completed
● Building strong relationships with outside contacts including guests, regulatory agencies, others as needed
● Reporting to the Director of Engineering
What We need from you:
● A minimum of 10 years' experience in hotel operation, with at least 2 years at managerial role
● A higher diploma in building services engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent
● Specialised expertise in electrical, mechanical
● Holder of Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate (Green Card)
● Experience on handling hotel opening, hotel renovation, hotel operation, hotel licensing procedures, maintenance and fire services systems
● Proactive, attention to details, excellent project management skill and people management skill
● Good computer skills especially AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
● Good command in both English and Chinese; speaking and writing
